Garlic Dipping Oil

Olive oil, garlic, oregano and lemon dip

Garlic Dipping Oil


2 Tbs olive oil, for browning garlic
1/2 cup olive oil, in a small bowl
6 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 Tsp of lemon juice
1/2 Tsp dry oregano flakes
Salt and pepper taste
1/2 Tsp chilli flakes (optional)


  1. In a frying pan, lightly brown garlic in olive oil over low to medium heat (do not burn or it will be bitter).
  2. Pour the garlic into the bowl of olive oil that has been set aside.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  4. Let sit for about an hour before serving.
  5. Serve with pita or crusty bread.
