500g minced beef
5 hard boiled eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 onion finely chopped
Salt and pepper to season
1 egg beaten lightly
- Mix the mince beef, salt, pepper, ½ cup breadcrumbs
and onion well then divide the mix into five equal portions.
- Put the egg in the middle of the mince and cover the
egg. (Hint - if you find it too big or too hard to cover the whole egg you can
cut the egg into half.)
- Dip the Koftas in the beaten egg and then in the
other ½ of the breadcrumbs for best results leave it to chill for an hour.
- Fry the Koftas in hot oil till cooked and brown.
