Kofta stuffed with eggs

Minced beef balls with hard boiled egg center

Kofta stuffed with eggs


500g minced beef
5 hard boiled eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs 
1 onion finely chopped
Salt and pepper to season
1 egg beaten lightly


  1. Mix the mince beef, salt, pepper, cup breadcrumbs and onion well then divide the mix into five equal portions.
  2. Put the egg in the middle of the mince and cover the egg. (Hint - if you find it too big or too hard to cover the whole egg you can cut the egg into half.)
  3. Dip the Koftas in the beaten egg and then in the other of the breadcrumbs for best results leave it to chill for an hour.
  4. Fry the Koftas in hot oil till cooked and brown.
