Za'atar Pastry Spirals

Golden puff pastry spirals with za'atar and tomato filling

Ingredients:

1 Puff Pastry Sheet
1/2 Cup Za'atar Mix
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1/4 Cup Tomato, finely diced

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200c.
  2. Spray or brush a baking tray with oil then set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl combine tomato, za’atar and olive oil, mix well then set aside.
  4. Spread the filling over the entire puff pastry sheet.
  5. Cut out strips 4cm x 20 cm then roll each strip into a spiral.
  6. Place the spirals on the baking try then bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
  7. Allow 10 minutes to cool then serve.
