Tunisian Kofta

Tunisian style Kofta with honey, lemon, ginger and spice

Tunisian Kofta

Ingredients:

500g Ground Beef or Lamb
1 Cup Breadcrumbs
1 Tsp Ground Coriander
1 Tsp Paprika Powder
1 Tsp Ground Cumin
1 Tsp Ground Ginger Powder
1 Tblsp Honey
1 Tblsp Lemon Juice
Salt and Pepper to taste
1/4 Cup Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley, roughly chopped

Method:

  1. Using hands combine all of the ingredients in a medium bowl. Roll mixture into 12 balls then roll balls into sausage-shaped kofta.
  2. Insert mixture onto skewers then cook the kofta on a heated oiled flat barbecue plate or frying pan until cooked through then serve.
