Lebanese Garlic and Tahini Chicken Recipe
Chicken in a garlic, herb and tahini marinade with garlic tahini sauce

Ingredients:
Marinade:
1kg chicken pieces
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teasp salt
3 tablesp lemon Juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablesp of Tahini
1 teasp dried oregano flakes
1 teasp dried basil flakes
1 teasp dried marjoram flakes
Sauce:
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablesp of tahini
Method:
- In a large bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients, add chicken stir and coat well then cover bowl with a cloth and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 180c.
- Place chicken into a roasting pan and discard marinade then roast chicken for 1 hour. While roasting after half an hour drizzle with olive oil.
- In a bowl mix all the sauce ingredients togeather then drizzle the sauce over the chicken.
- Can be served with potato chips or pita bread.
