Pickled Cabbage

Ingredients:


2 medium Cabbages
1 tablesp allspice powder
3 chopped celery stalks
2 sliced hot green peppers
Water
Salt

Method:

  1. Cut the cabbages into quarters.
  2. Put the peppers and the celery at the bottom of the jar then press the cabbage on top.
  3. Add water to fill up to the top of the jar, then add 1 tablespoon of salt for each cup of water, then mix in the allspice.
  4. Close the jar and place it in a sunny spot.
  5. After 7 days the pickled cabbage is ready to serve.
